South East Business Innovation and Growth is designed to have a real and positive impact on the economy of the South East of England by providing highly focused support to companies that have the potential to deliver significant growth through innovation.

The Innovation and Growth Team for East Sussex and Brighton & Hove is staffed by business professionals with proven track records in successfully delivering business growth in the region.

With the active engagement of a range of business support partners in East Sussex and Brighton & Hove, our role is to assist innovative and fast growth businesses at every stage of their development path by delivering advice, coaching, mentoring and networking.

To help you grow your business, the East Sussex and Brighton & Hove Innovation & Growth team can provide:

• Bespoke support to meet the specific needs of your company’s development and commercialisation plans.
• A team with wide ranging commercial experience and practical knowledge of business.  Our Portfolio Directors have either worked in senior positions in businesses, large and small, or have direct access to knowledge transfer from universities and research centres.
• In-depth knowledge of the role digital technology and digital media can play in supporting business innovation and growth.
• Networks including new and emerging sector-based clusters, peer mentoring groups and action learning networks, to enable the sharing of experiences and to encourage collaboration.
• Access, via our Portfolio Directors, to the expertise and experience of key business support organisations Wired Sussex, Sussex Innovation Centre, MD Hub and The Werks; and the University of Brighton and University of Sussex.

We want to build a vibrant, supportive and collaborative Community of Innovation, involving innovative, high-growth companies of all sizes and from all sectors across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.
