Business Support Kent

Business Support Kent (BSK) is a community Interest Company (CIC) and our sole purpose is to do just that: support businesses and entrepreneurs in Kent & Medway. As a CIC we are not for profit and any surplus we generate is re-invested to develop more support for business

Kent Economic Board

The Kent Partnership is made up of representatives from the public, private, voluntary and community sector. The Enterprise and Innovation Task Group provides strategic guidance to the Kent & Medway Innovation and Growth Team

Kent County Council

Kent County Council is the strategic local authority for Kent and has a wide range of responsibilities, including economic development and regeneration. It is supportive of Kent Businesses through its Backing Kent Business initiative and has developed strong working relationships with the business community. It seeks to ensure that Kent businesses operate in an environment which is conducive to sustainable business growth, making the most of its location between London and the Europe.

Solace CEO Eliot Forster is the Chairman of KMIGT. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 15 years and was most recently Head of European Development for Pfizer. Eliot is an advisor to the UKTI Biotech & Pharmaceuticals group and also works with universities in support of their Enterprise activities. Thames Gateway Kent Partnership

Formed in 2001, the Thames Gateway Kent Partnership (TGKP) is a partnership of private, public and community sectors in North Kent and Medway. It is one of three similar partnerships in the Gateway – the other two covering the London Gateway area and South Essex – with overall co-ordination coming through a ministerially-led Strategic Partnership for the whole of the Gateway.

Canterbury Christ Church University
