David brings a broad range of experience working with high growth businesses of all sizes, having provided business mentoring and coaching support as well as specialist consulting and management training in finance and project management.

His experience is not just advisory as he has worked in and with a wide range of engineering, technology, IT and continuous process companies and with a spectrum of responsibilities from running manufacturing operations, developing marketing strategy and with fulll P&L responsibility.

David is a chartered engineer with a degree in aeronautical engineering and management. He has an MBA from Cranfield with exchange studies at the University of Washington in Seattle where he specialised in marketing and international business.

His early career was in production management and engineering staff roles as an engineer officer in the RAF. This was followed by assignments in sales and engineering project management with the US multinationals  HH Robertson Group and Bechtel International.

Post MBA he moved into general management, initially as a business and marketing planner with the Plessey Group.

This was followed by over a decade running and developing the small companies Mainwork, an asset management consultancy and Modex Automation, a manufacturer of industrial electronics.

More recently he has worked as a consultant and interim executive working with SMEs, large corporates and public sector organisations. His assignments focused on improving operational performance in office, technical and production environments.
