David brings extensive experience of managing and growing high technology, engineering and manufacturing businesses both in UK and USA.

Having always worked within fast changing markets he has developed and implemented strategies to deliver sustained growth and profits and to bring new products and services to a variety of markets worldwide, including Defence and Aerospace.

His strengths lie in innovation and creativity coupled with a broad background in finance, sales, marketing and manufacturing which helps him to define business problems, develop solutions and to help deliver growth in companies of all sizes.

An early career in finance and accountancy before moving into sales and marketing in the IT industry led to director level positions in Sales, Marketing and General Management and over 10 years experience as Managing Director of a high tech, manufacturing company with operations in the UK and USA. These positions encompassed large scale strategic change programmes requiring the development of new strategies, new products, new teams and extensive cultural change resulting in long term growth, sustainable profits and enhanced market positions.

David has experience of raising venture capital and bank finance, has led an MBO and has extensive experience of acquisitions and disposals in worldwide markets.

Most recently working as an adviser in the SME market David has helped a large number of local companies by working closely with them to increase their profits, grow into new markets and develop their businesses in a variety of ways.
